Damn, I only just saw those replies from Graham who I assume is somehow connected to John D Wood. Graham, sorry it took me ages to get back, you have obviously been stewing on this quite a lot and have got yourself a little bit worked up. So, how about actually answering the criticisms I made...namely about the dreadful targeting by John D.Wood and the fact that none of the stuff sent to me was relevant. Or, the fact that December was clearly not a month where confidence was returning. It was probably about as low as things have got on reflection. As for Weybridge, I am pleased to report that prices now, at last, have come down, reflecting what is happening in the market nationally. It seems December's 'resurgence of confidence' wasn't enough of a resurgence to keep the prices as high as they were. As for agents, there are good ones and bad ones. In the last couple of weeks we have been fortunate enough to deal with some really good agents. Sadly, they weren't in Weybridge although a couple there are notable for being good - Curchods and Martin Flashman stand out. Anyway, I wish you all the best and hope that you manage to shift some houses now that prices have come down.

You clearly are a very sad little pr**k with nothing better to do with your life. The agent is obviously trying to inject a little bit of confidence into us buyers to get the market/ecomemy moving as it's gullible losers like you who beleive everything that they read in the newspaper and talk this country into a recession. If we all took your attitude we will never get out of this.'the second thing that irked me' is this.... Why are you so baffled about the offers you putting in? If you can not afford the properties in a nice area like Weybridge maybe you should focus your search a little further afield or save a little bit more money; findaproperty and globrix are not going to be able to help you. Who do you think you are? Slating that agent, by calling him desperate, insulting the people of Weybridge by assuming that they are no longer wealthy and more to the point there only seems to be one thing 'knocking around' and that is a time waster like you! If I were that agent I would strike you off my books!

Don't get me started about bloody estate agents and letting agents!

Seriously, PR people get such a bad rap but compared to those pirates we're soft fluffy kittens.

Horrible, horrible people.

And that bit about the market enjoying a resurgence is absolute crap. Prices have got further to fall. Some are saying 50% from peak.

I'm sitting tight and enjoying the flexibility and freedom of being able to live where I like with minimal hassle.

As an added bonus I'm enjoying not hearing people talking about how they "made 10 grand on their property over the last six months."
