Enfant terrible of the blogosphere Mario Lavandeira gave me an interview the other day for my new site Web Famous. He’s the second ‘Web celeb’ I’ve chatted to for the site which aims to explore the broad subject of online fame. Originally Web Famous was just going to feature my interviews with Web stars but I am going to broaden it out and make the site a blog about all aspects of Web fame, from the impact of Web notoriety on brands to the its impact on organisations and people. It will have a PR/marketing slant as that’s what I do, but it will include a certain amount of analysis including information about tools that will help communicators make their brands more famous on the Web.
